Ultimately, The Maine Food Strategy will be created by and for the people and businesses of Maine.
The Project Coordinating Team is drawn from multiple organizations located across the state. The project’s administrative seat resides at the University of Southern Maine’s Muskie School.
Currently there is a Process Design Committee (also composed of individuals from across the state) in place for Phases I and II to help create an inclusive and participatory process for the emerging Food Strategy and Network. An Advisory Team, a Steering Committee, and topic-specific Working Groups and Working “Links” (to existing efforts) are in formation.
